Week 1 – Module

4 days scheduled

Thread the gap: precision Bump'n'Runs to a tight pin. Pinpoint accuracy and challenge limits. Focus on Precision, Distance Control, Alignment. This module is for Short Game, specifically working on Bump'n'Run.

D1

Day 1

Bump-n-Run | Perpendicular Piles | Quadrants

Program: Thread the gap: precision Bump'n'Runs to a tight pin

Up to 5 players compete to stop a bump-n-run shot inside the quadrant(s). The player with the most points wins the challenge. One bucket of balls per player is needed.

Short Game26 min
Diagram for Bump-n-Run | Perpendicular Piles | Quadrants
1

Set up 10 piles of balls in two lines, each with 5 piles. Lines cross like a plus sign. Piles in a line are 3 yards/meters apart. The lines are 5 to 10 yards/meters apart. Place piles between 1 and 10 yards/meters from the green and 5 to 30 yards/meters from the hole.

2

On the green, use string or tees to make 4 target areas, each a circle with a 6-foot (2 meter) radius.

3

Hit 36 bump-and-run shots in total. Split shots into 4 groups of

9

Aim each group at a different target area.

4

Start from any pile. Hit a shot to try to land in the chosen target area.

5

After 9 shots at one target area, switch to the next and repeat until all 36 shots are done.

6

Count one point for each ball that stops in the right target area.

7

When finished, count successful shots in the correct area and enter your score out of 36 attempts.

Day 2

Bump-n-Run | Parallel Piles | Bullseye 2x

Program: Thread the gap: precision Bump'n'Runs to a tight pin

Align a bucket of balls (avg. bucket is 40 balls) into 10 equal parallel piles of 4 balls next to the green and stop bump-n-run shots inside Bullseye. Count the number of balls in the inner and outer Bullseye.

Short Game26 min

Arrange 40 balls into 10 piles of 4 balls each. Place the piles in two parallel lines, 5 to 10 yards apart, with each pile in a line about 2 yards apart.

2

On the green, mark two target zones: an inner circle with a 6-foot radius and an outer circle with a 15-foot radius.

3

Hit 36 shots: 18 to the inner circle, 18 to the outer circle.

4

Hit shots from any pile, switch between piles and lines.

Day 3

Bump-n-Run | Scattered Ball Lines | 3 Landing Zones

Program: Thread the gap: precision Bump'n'Runs to a tight pin

Scatter a bucket of balls next to the green (avg. bucket is 40 balls) into 8 equal lines of 5 balls and hit-and-land bump-n-run shots inside landing zones. Count the number of successes.

Short Game26 min
Diagram for Bump-n-Run | Scattered Ball Lines | 3 Landing Zones
1

Put 40 balls into 8 lines with 5 balls in each line. Lines should be on grass, 1 to 10 yards/meters from the green and 5 to 30 yards/meters from the hole. Balls in each line should be about 1 yard/meter apart.

2

Make 3 landing zones on the edge of the green. Use sticks or string to mark each zone. Zones should be in a straight line and 6 feet (2 meters) apart.

3

Hit 36 bump-and-run shots using the balls. Split these into 3 groups of 12 shots.

4

For the first 12 shots, aim at the first landing zone. Use any of the 8 lines, hitting all 5 balls in a line, then go to another line until 12 shots are done.

5

For the next 12 shots, aim at the second landing zone. Hit full lines of 5 balls until you have 12 shots.

6

For the last 12 shots, aim at the third landing zone. Hit full lines of 5 balls until 12 shots are done. Count each ball that lands and stays in the chosen landing zone as a success, and add up total successful shots out of 36 attempts in the app.

5

Keep the ball position and setup the same every time; only change curve and club.

6

After each shot, check if the ball lands in the correct cone/bucket on the right side for the curve.

7

Count each ball in the correct zone as a success.

8

When all 36 shots are done, total your number of successful shots and enter your score in the app out of 36 tries.
