Privacy Policy

Built for high-performance practice, protected like mission-critical data.

Effective March 2026. This document explains how we treat data collected through the drills.golf website and mobile apps, including analytics for 40,000 courses and 50,000 tournaments.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy covers the drills.golf web experience, native iOS and Android apps, and any beta tools that surface course, tournament, or practice insights. By using any of these properties you agree that we may process data as described below.

2. Data we collect

We store account identifiers, practice logs, simulator metrics, subscription status, device telemetry for diagnostics, and limited location data when you opt in to course recommendations. Payment data is handled by our payment processor and never touches our servers.

3. How we use data

Data powers flagship practice plans, benchmarking, anti-abuse monitoring, and feature experiments. Aggregated metrics may be used to highlight anonymized performance trends. We do not sell personal information.

4. Sharing & retention

We only share data with vendors that help us deliver the product (cloud hosting, analytics, crash reporting). Logs tied to your account remain until you delete them or close the account. Legal requests are evaluated case-by-case.

5. Your controls

Update or delete practice history in-app, export score data by contacting support, and disable notifications at the OS level. Mobile permissions can be revoked at any time without losing access to the core experience.

Mobile + web specific details

  • Mobile devices periodically send anonymized crash logs so we can fix stability issues without exposing your practice stats.
  • The web platform caches shards of course and tournament data locally to keep search instant; clearing browser storage removes those caches.
  • Simulator integrations rely on optional tokens. Revoking a token inside the app immediately severs access for that vendor.

Scraping & data usage

Automated scraping or bulk collection of tournament schedules, course slugs, or practice plans is strictly prohibited. We pursue legal remedies against any party that bypasses security controls or republishes our datasets without permission. To obtain licensed access, email support@drills.golf with details about your use case.

Questions or data requests

For subject access requests, deletion, or compliance reviews, contact support@drills.golf. Please include the email tied to your account and any relevant screenshots so we can verify ownership quickly.
