How difficult is Le Diable for mid-handicap golfers?
Le Diable is regarded as a strategically complex layout. A slope rating of 136.0 suggests a moderately demanding round. The course rating of 74.1 reflects on scoring relative to par 71.
What tees should a 15 handicap play at Le Diable?
A 15 handicap golfer should consider tees closer to 5856 yards. The back tees extend to 7060.0 yards, which makes approach shots longer and scoring more challenging.
What is considered a good score at Le Diable?
With a course rating of 74.1 and par 71, a mid-handicap golfer would typically score in the mid to high 80s. Stronger players aiming to break 71 must manage approach shots and avoid penalty strokes.
How long is Le Diable and how does yardage affect play?
Measuring 7060.0 yards at maximum length, distance control plays a central role in scoring.
What type of course is Le Diable and how should I play it?
Le Diable is designed as a Parkland layout. Overall, the setup will reward players who place the ball in safe positions far from hazards. Also, type of shot is more crucial rather than just trying to gain distance.
What features make Le Diable strategically challenging?
The combination of a slope rating of 136.0 and yardage reaching 7060.0 yards creates consistent pressure on approach shots. You will need to balance risk and reward, especially on longer par 4s and protected greens.
