Week 1 – Module

4 days scheduled

Keep Ball Near Hole. Make par and mix short game shots. Focus on Scoring, Distance Control, Visualization. This module is for Short Game, specifically working on Mixed.

D1

Day 1

DIY Course Easy

Program: Keep Ball Near Hole

Up to 5 players play easy-difficulty 9 hole ‘PAR 2’ DIY course. Best final score wins.

Short Game26 min
Diagram for DIY Course Easy
1

Set up 9 short holes around the practice area. Put one ball per player on different lies like sand, rough, and slopes.

2

Each hole is a PAR 2 challenge.

3

Play the 9 holes two times. Take 2 shots per hole each time. This means 36 shots total.

4

At each hole, hit your wedge or short shot to the green, then putt until you finish the hole.

5

Go to the next hole when you finish. Do this for all 9 holes, two times.

6

Count each hole finished in 2 shots or fewer as a success.

7

Add the number of successful holes. Enter your score in the app out of 36 attempts.

Day 42

All Wedges (LW to PW) | Weaknesses Discovery

Program: Wedge Distance Control

Discover weaknesses amongst wedges shots and clubs to avoid in critical situations. Hit one bucket of ~50 balls.

Driving Range43 min
Diagram for All Wedges (LW to PW) | Weaknesses Discovery

Pick flags/targets (one or more) suitable for wedges (LW,SW,GW and/or PW). Create a perimeter around the flag at [5% of the total distance to the flag] using four cones or buckets (or use imagination). Pick one flag/target to hit to and one cone on the opposite side to avoid. Hit 15 balls with each wedge (one bucket of ~50 balls). Goal is to hit as close as possible to the target while avoiding the opposing cone (opposing can represents an obstacle: water hazard, sand trap or similar). The type of shot/club that finds the obstacle is a weakness. Switch between flags/targets. Switch between wedges throughout the exercise. Work on any ball flight.
