Course Description
Amid the rolling terrain, hardwoods and meandering creeks of the Piedmont, Lincoln Country Club has been challenging golfers since 1946. The front nine features tree-lined fairways that demand accurate tee shots, and small greens that reward precision. The back nine is more open, but being in the right places on the greens is still important. Ponds and creeks come into play on several holes while well-placed sand bunkers are incorporated into the course's traditional design. Four sets of tees will test players of every ability.

Get answers to common questions about playing Lincoln Cc and what to expect.
How difficult is Lincoln Cc for mid-handicap golfers?
From a scoring perspective, Lincoln Cc challenges consistency. The 134.0 slope indicates balanced but noticeable difficulty. The course rating of 76.0 reflects on scoring relative to par 72.
What tees should a 15 handicap play at Lincoln Cc?
A 15 handicap golfer should consider tees closer to 5480 yards. The back tees extend to 6028.0 yards, which makes approach shots longer and scoring more challenging.
What is considered a good score at Lincoln Cc?
With a course rating of 76.0 and par 72, a mid-handicap golfer would typically score in the mid to high 80s. Stronger players aiming to break 72 must manage approach shots and avoid penalty strokes.
How long is Lincoln Cc and how does yardage affect play?
Stretching to 6028.0 yards from the back tees, distance is less of a barrier than precision.
What type of course is Lincoln Cc and how should I play it?
The course follows a traditional Parkland design philosophy. Overall, the setup will reward players who place the ball in safe positions far from hazards. Also, type of shot is more crucial rather than just trying to gain distance.
What features make Lincoln Cc strategically challenging?
The combination of a slope rating of 134.0 and yardage reaching 6028.0 yards creates consistent pressure on approach shots. You will need to balance risk and reward, especially on longer par 4s and protected greens.
