'Esker Hills is one of Ireland's finest golf courses and infinitely better value than places you would have heard of. If you are a golfer never, ever pass this place.' David Walsh, The Sunday Times Golf Society. Esker Hills Golf Club, the Christy O'Connor Jnr. designed masterpiece, is just outside Tullamore, Co. Offaly. Esker Hills is home to European Tour professional Shane Lowry. Shane had a glittering Amateur career at Esker Hills that in 2009 culminated in him being the first Amateur golfer to ever win an Irish Open. The championship golf course is known for its distinctive links feel, superb sand-based greens, all-year playability and a warm welcome. Offering keenly priced group rates, Esker Hills presents excellent value to any society for a challenging round of golf.
