Course Description
Crestview Country Club has a comprehensive chronicle of excellence in Wichita. We were founded in 1921 by three local businessmen on 160 acres between 17th & 21st, and Fairmount College & Oliver. They plotted out the golf course, then fenced the greens to protect them from cattle that rightfully roamed the area. The remaining buffalo and surrounding wild grasses contributed to the natural appeal of the original golf course. The spirit of Crestview remained strong through WWII, the Great Depression, a fire that destroyed the original Clubhouse, the move to its current location in 1969, among other events throughout its history. Most recently, Concert Golf Partners purchased the exclusive Member-Owned Club in the summer of 2016; this has allowed Crestview to flourish with newly infused capital & improvements of over $5 million back into the Club!Concert Golf Partners has reinvigorated the outstanding Club of years past and has joined over 500 new families since the purchase just over five years ago; furthermore, all Members enjoy NO ASSESSMENTS—GUARANTEED! Over the years, Crestview CC has remained the most extraordinary of clubs. Home of the only 36-hole Private Country Club in the state of Kansas, Crestview is also proud to be called a family-oriented club; it provides its members the highest standard of excellence in social, business entertaining, & family activities.Crestview CC Features:Guaranteed NO ASSESSMENTS2 Robert Trent Jones 18-Hole Championship Golf Courses-Home to the PGA Korn Ferry Tour's Wichita Open2 Trackman Simulators & RTJ Players Den-(Dec 2018)Golf Proshop-(Fall 2017)Kid's Cave-(Jan 2018)10 Tennis Courts-(4 Indoor/6 Outdoor) -Pickleball Nets/Lines AvailableFitness Facility-(Winter 2016)29,000 sq ft Clubhouse7 Dining & Banquet Rooms-(Remodeled 2017)Jr Olympic-size Swimming Pool w/ high-diving board-(Renovated 2017) w/ Splash Pad, Cabana, & Snack Bar21 Concert Golf Partners Associate Club BenefitsAccess to 200 Club Corp Properties

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions about North
Get answers to common questions about playing North and what to expect.
How difficult is North for mid-handicap golfers?
From a scoring perspective, North challenges consistency. The 138.0 slope indicates balanced but noticeable difficulty. The course rating of 74.8 reflects on scoring relative to par 72.
What tees should a 15 handicap play at North?
A 15 handicap golfer should consider tees closer to 6540 yards. The back tees extend to 6959.0 yards, which makes approach shots longer and scoring more challenging.
What is considered a good score at North?
With a course rating of 74.8 and par 72, a mid-handicap golfer would typically score in the mid to high 80s. Stronger players aiming to break 72 must manage approach shots and avoid penalty strokes.
How long is North and how does yardage affect play?
Stretching to 6959.0 yards from the back tees, approach shot length becomes a consistent scoring factor.
What type of course is North and how should I play it?
The course follows a traditional Parkland design philosophy. Overall, the setup will reward players who place the ball in safe positions far from hazards. Also, type of shot is more crucial rather than just trying to gain distance.
What features make North strategically challenging?
The combination of a slope rating of 138.0 and yardage reaching 6959.0 yards creates consistent pressure on approach shots. You will need to balance risk and reward, especially on longer par 4s and protected greens.
