Short Game

Align a bucket of balls next to the green (avg. bucket is 40 balls) into 2 parallel lines 20 balls per line and stop bump-n-run shots inside quadrants. Count the number of successes.

Place two rows of 18 balls each next to the green. Space the rows 5 to 10 yards apart. Balls in each row are 1 foot apart.

On the green, use strings or tees to mark 4 equal quadrants in a 6-foot circle.

Hit 36 bump-n-run shots, aiming 9 shots at each quadrant.

Hit 3 shots from the first row at Quadrant

Switch to the second row and hit 3 shots at Quadrant

Keep switching rows every 3 shots. Next aim at Quadrant 3 from the first row, then Quadrant 4 from the second row, until each quadrant has 9 shots.

Count each shot that stops inside the correct quadrant as a success.

Bump-n-Run | Scattered Piles | 3 Landing Zones

Short Game

Up to 5 players compete to land a bump-n-run shot inside the landing zone(s). The player with the most points wins the challenge. One bucket of balls per player is needed.

Get 36 balls. Split them into 3 piles of 12 balls.

Make 3 zones on the green with sticks or string. Each zone is 6 feet apart in a line.

On the grass, put each pile of balls at random spots 1 to 10 yards from the green and 5 to 30 yards from the hole. Each pile matches a zone.

Hit 12 shots from the first pile, try to land in the first zone.

Hit 12 shots from the second pile, try to land in the second zone.

Hit 12 shots from the last pile, try to land in the third zone.

Count how many balls land and stop in each zone.

Make three target zones on the green around the hole: left, center, right.

Short Game

Up to 5 players hit bump-n-run shot two buckets of balls (avg. bucket is 40 balls) from the sloped deep rough and other extreme grass types; one bucket with balls above feet level, and one bucket with balls below feet level.

Make two piles of 18 golf balls at the edge of the green: one pile for above the feet, one for below the feet.

Mark three landing zones on the green, each 4 feet wide and 5 feet apart in a straight line.

Hit 36 bump-and-run shots: 18 from above feet, 18 from below feet.

For each lie (above and below feet), hit 6 shots to each landing zone (6 per zone × 3 zones = 18 shots per lie).

Keep the same ball setup and distance for all shots. Only change where you are aiming.

Count any shot that lands and stops in the correct zone as a success.

Short Game

Scatter a bucket of balls (avg. bucket is 40 balls) next to the green. Scatter into 8 equal piles of 5 balls and stop bump-n-run shots inside Bullseye. Count the number of balls in the inner and outer Bullseye.

Put 36 balls into 6 piles of 6 balls. Place the piles on grass or slopes 1 to 10 yards from the green and 5 to 30 yards from the hole.

Mark two circles on the green: one small (6-foot radius), one big (15-foot radius).

Hit 36 shots in total. For the first 18 shots, aim for the small circle. For the next 18 shots, aim for the area between the small and big circle.

Start at any pile and hit 3 shots at a time toward the target, moving from pile to pile until you finish 18 shots.

Do the same for the bigger circle with the next 18 shots, 3 from each pile.

Count how many balls stay in the target circle for each set of 18 shots.
