Calendar skills periodization

Custom runway into Brunswick Junior Classic

The graph shrinks or stretches to the flagship length and adds two blank buffer weeks up front. Those tabs are clickable—pick a color strip to jump straight to that week’s drill stack below. The flagship window is still highlighted, but we no longer show the default 52-week grid.

Drills intentionally oscillate from slightly easier to harder sets every one to three weeks. That nudges players into more/less challenge to simulate pressure, which is why the readiness curve wiggles rather than climbing in a perfect line.

How to read it

  • • Two muted tabs (Runway & Travel) stay empty to account for logistics, testing, or light play.
  • • Colored tabs match the flagship weeks; clicking them scrolls to the detailed week cards.
  • • The wavy curve shows readiness responding to drill difficulty spikes meant to recreate tournament pressure.
