Place 36 balls in 2 lines of 18 balls each, about 1 foot apart.

2

Set up 9 stop zones on the green using markers, arranged in 3 groups of 3 zones.

3

Hit 4 pitch shots into each stop zone, for a total of 36 shots.

4

Start at the first stop zone and hit 4 shots from the first ball line, aiming for that zone.

5

Switch to the second ball line and hit 4 shots at the next stop zone.

6

Keep switching lines and zones until all 36 shots are done.

7

A shot is a success if the ball stops in the target zone.

8

Count successful shots and enter score in the app, out of 36 attempts.

Pitch | Deep Rough and Other | Above/Below Feet

Short Game

Hit two buckets of balls (avg. bucket is 40 balls) from the sloped deep rough and other extreme grass types; one bucket with balls above feet level, one bucket with balls below feet level.

26 minFocus: Short Game
Diagram for Pitch | Deep Rough and Other | Above/Below Feet
1

Set up 3 targets on the green, each about 6 feet apart in a line or curve.

2

Stand in the deep rough, 30 to 40 yards away, where the ground is sloped above or below your feet.

3

Hit 36 pitch shots: 18 with the ball above your feet, 18 with the ball below your feet.

4

Divide each set of 18 shots into 3 groups of 6 shots.

5

For each group, aim all 6 shots at one target, then switch to the next target.

6

Start with shots when the ball is above your feet: hit 6 shots at Target 1, 6 at Target 2, 6 at Target

7

Then hit from where the ball is below your feet: 6 shots at Target 1, 6 at Target 2, 6 at Target

8

Count each shot that lands and stays near the target as a success.

9

Enter your number of successful shots in the app out of 36 attempts.

Pitch | Deep Rough and Other | Uphill/Downhill

Short Game

Hit two buckets of balls (avg. bucket is 40 balls) from the sloped deep rough and other extreme grass types; one bucket from the uphill slope and one bucket from the downhill slope.

26 minFocus: Short Game
Diagram for Pitch | Deep Rough and Other | Uphill/Downhill
1

Find a place on the uphill slope, 30 to 40 yards from the hole, to hit all shots.

2

Put a target (like a pin or club) at the hole or a visible spot on the green.

3

Split 36 shots into 2 groups of

4

Hit 18 balls from the uphill slope, trying to stop them close to the target.

5

Move to a similar place on the downhill slope at the same distance.

6

Hit 18 balls from the downhill slope at the same target.

7

Count how many balls stop in the chosen scoring area around the target (example: within 3 feet).

Pitch | Parallel Piles | 9 Stop Zones

Short Game

Up to 5 players compete to stop a pitch shot in the stop zone(s). The player with the most points at the end wins the challenge. One bucket of balls per player is needed.

26 minFocus: Short Game
Diagram for Pitch | Parallel Piles | 9 Stop Zones
1

Set up 10 piles of balls in two lines, each line has 5 piles, piles in a line are 4 yards/meters apart, and lines are 5 to 10 yards/meters apart.

2

Put these piles on grass between 30 and 60 yards/meters from the hole, not on the green.

3

Mark 9 stop zones on the green with buckets, string, or tees. Space the zones evenly.

4

Use 36 balls. Make 9 groups of 4 balls for each stop zone.

5

For each stop zone, hit 4 balls trying to stop them inside it. Do this for all 9 zones.

6

Count how many balls stop inside the right zone.

7

Add up your total successes and enter your score in the app, out of 36 attempts.

Pitch | Parallel Piles | Quadrants

Short Game

Up to 5 players compete to stop a pitch shot inside the quadrant(s). The player with the most points wins the challenge. One bucket of balls per player is needed.

26 minFocus: Short Game
Diagram for Pitch | Parallel Piles | Quadrants
1

Set up 10 piles of balls in two lines, 5 piles in each line, 4 yards/meters between piles, and 5-10 yards/meters between lines.

2

Place the piles 30 to 60 yards/meters from the hole on any grass.

3

On the green near the hole, mark 4 areas using string or tees, each area is a quarter-circle with a 9-foot (3-meter) radius.

4

Hit 36 pitch shots in total, 9 shots toward each area.

5

Begin at any pile, hit 9 balls to the first area, then move to the next area until all 4 areas are used.

6

Count every ball that stops inside the area you aimed for as a success.

7

After 36 shots, count successes and enter the score in the app, out of 36 attempts.

Pitch | Fairway | Above/Below Feet

Short Game

Hit two buckets of balls (avg. bucket is 40 balls) from the sloped fairway; one bucket with balls above feet level, one bucket with balls below feet level.

26 minFocus: Short Game
Diagram for Pitch | Fairway | Above/Below Feet
1

Pick a place on the fairway where the ball is above your feet and about 30 to 40 yards from the hole.

2

Put 18 balls in a pile on your side at this spot.

3

Pick a target on the green and keep it the same for the first 6 shots.

Hit 6 pitch shots trying to get close to the target from the above-feet slope.

5

Change the target after every 6 shots. Do this 3 times for a total of 18 shots from this spot.

6

Move to a place where the ball is below your feet, again 30 to 40 yards from the hole.

7

Put 18 more balls in a pile at this new spot.

8

Do exactly the same as before: 6 shots per target, 3 targets, 18 shots total.

26 minFocus: Short Game
Diagram for Pitch| Parallel Piles | Bullseye 2x
1

Put 40 balls into 10 piles of 4 balls each. Make 2 rows with 5 piles in each row.

2

Place the 2 rows 5 to 10 yards apart. Each pile in a row is 2 yards from the next.

3

Put the piles on grass, 30 to 60 yards from the hole, anywhere except on the green.

4

On the green, make 2 circles around the hole: a small circle with a 6-foot radius, and a big circle with a 15-foot radius.

5

Hit 36 balls. Try to get 18 balls into the small circle and 18 balls into the big circle.

6

Take turns hitting from different piles, changing lines and piles as wanted. Focus on the correct target zone.

7

Balls stopping inside the small circle are better. Balls in the big circle are good too.

8

When all 36 balls are hit, count the balls in both circles and add them for your score. Enter your score in the app, out of 36 attempts.
