Located just 25 minutes south of Reno and 30 minutes from Lake Tahoe. The course offers 5 sets of tees but the Par-71 layout is 6,564 yards from the tournament tees. Nestled against the high desert hillside, dramatic elevation changes on the opening nine holes produce unparalleled scenic views of the valley. At times wildlife is abundant as the course and nature embrace. The finishing nine offer a unique contrast to the front. Sierra Mountain views to the south, lakes, and longer holes wind you through the Silver Oak master planned community. Silver Oak Golf Course has consistently been voted Carson City's best since 2006.
