Hit 36 shots aiming at the same target, focusing on flight, distance control, and accuracy.

4

Count shots that land and stop close to the target as a success.

5

After all 36 shots, enter your score in the app, out of 36 attempts.

Day 50

Wedges (LW to PW) | GIRs Simulation

Program: How close can you get? Challenge your short game

Simulate X number of GIR (Green in Regulations) using wedges only. Hit one bucket of ~50 balls. Count total number of greens hit.

Driving Range31 min
Diagram for Wedges (LW to PW) | GIRs Simulation
1

Choose a flag or marker for the center of the green.

2

Use cones or markers to make a small green area, equal to 5% of the distance to the flag. This is the target zone.

3

Divide the green into 3 zones from left to right using markers: left, center, and right.

4

Hit 36 wedge shots: 12 at the left zone, 12 at the center, 12 at the right.

5

Use any wedge between LW and PW. Keep ball placement the same each time.

6

After each shot, check if the ball landed and stopped in the correct zone. Count if it did.

7

Finish all 36 shots, switching zones each time.

8

Add up the number of good shots in the zones out of 36 and enter your score in the app.

Day 51

Wedges (LW to PW) | Downswing

Program: How close can you get? Challenge your short game

Work only on downswing using wedges only. Hit one bucket of ~50 balls.

Driving Range31 min
Diagram for Wedges (LW to PW) | Downswing
1

Pick a flag or target suitable for wedges (LW, SW, GW, or PW).

2

Hit 36 wedge shots aiming at the same single target.

3

Use any wedges; keep the ball setup the same, and focus on your downswing.

4

Count each shot that lands on or near the target as a success.

5

Record how many shots were successful out of 36 in the app.

Day 52

Wedges (LW to PW) | 9 Targets

Program: How close can you get? Challenge your short game

Hit 5 balls to each target using wedges only. Hit one bucket of ~50 balls. Count total number of successful shots.

Driving Range31 min
Diagram for Wedges (LW to PW) | 9 Targets
1

Set up 9 targets around the flag on the green, spaced evenly.

2

Use two cones to mark each target. The ball must land between the cones to count.

3

Hit 36 wedge shots, 4 shots to each target.

4

Pick any wedge (LW, SW, GW, PW) for each shot. Try to land the ball between the cones.

5

Shoot to the targets in any order, but 4 shots to each.

6

Count each ball that lands between the cones as a success.

7

After all 36 shots, add up your total and enter your score in the app, out of 36 attempts.

Day 53

All Wedges (LW to PW) | Weaknesses Discovery

Program: How close can you get? Challenge your short game

Discover weaknesses amongst wedges shots and clubs to avoid in critical situations. Hit one bucket of ~50 balls.

Driving Range43 min
Diagram for All Wedges (LW to PW) | Weaknesses Discovery

Pick flags/targets (one or more) suitable for wedges (LW,SW,GW and/or PW). Create a perimeter around the flag at [5% of the total distance to the flag] using four cones or buckets (or use imagination). Pick one flag/target to hit to and one cone on the opposite side to avoid. Hit 15 balls with each wedge (one bucket of ~50 balls). Goal is to hit as close as possible to the target while avoiding the opposing cone (opposing can represents an obstacle: water hazard, sand trap or similar). The type of shot/club that finds the obstacle is a weakness. Switch between flags/targets. Switch between wedges throughout the exercise. Work on any ball flight.
