Course Description

The course at Scotscraig is situated just 15 minutes from the Old Course in St Andrews and was designed by Old Tom Morris and James Braid. It is one of the world's oldest golf clubs, established in 1817. Members and visitors can enjoy all-year golf on the sand-based turf at Scotscraig thanks to its quality and superb maintenance. The course was a six-time Open Qualifier venue from 1984 to 2001 and has hosted prestigious tournaments such as the Scottish Seniors Championship in 2002, the Ladies Home Internationals in 2013, and the Scottish Boys and Girls Amateur Championships in 2017. Justin Rose described it as "a great course, great greens, and very friendly."The memorabilia displayed throughout Scotscraig's original clubhouse is a wonderful feature. Visitors can gather and dine in our Scotscraig clubhouse, which oozes character. Whether you're looking for a business luncheon, a celebration, or just a meal and a drink, our clubhouse, steeped in golfing history, is the place for you.
