Sand | Perpendicular Piles | 9 Stop Zones

Short Game

Align a bucket of balls in the sand (avg. bucket is 40 balls) into 10 equal perpendicular piles of 4 balls and stop sand shots inside 9 Stop Zones. Count the number of successful stops.

Place 36 balls into 9 piles of 4 balls each. Space the piles in two crossing lines about 5 to 10 yards apart. Keep piles in each line about 2 yards apart. Make sure the piles are 20 to 40 yards from the hole.

On the green, make 9 stop zones with buckets, tees, or string. Keep zones clear and not overlapping.

Hit 36 sand shots, trying to stop 4 balls in each stop zone.

Hit 4 shots from the first pile to the first stop zone. Move to the next pile and aim at the next zone.

5

Keep going until you finish 36 shots, 4 to each zone.

6

Count each shot that stops in the right zone as one success.

7

Add the total number of successes out of 36 attempts and enter the score in the app.

Sand Short

Short Game

Up to 5 players hit sand shot two buckets of balls (avg. bucket is 40 balls) from the sand.

Make two piles of 18 golf balls, 5 yards apart, in two bunkers: one bunker is 5 yards from the hole, the other is 20 yards from the hole.

Mark three zones on the green: Close (within 3 feet), Medium (3 to 6 feet), Far (6 to 10 feet).

Hit 18 shots from the 5-yard bunker and 18 shots from the 20-yard bunker.

For each bunker, aim 6 shots at each zone.

Hit each shot the same way. Try to land the ball in the right zone.

If the ball lands and stops in the target zone, it counts as a success.

Count the number of successes and enter the score in the app out of 36 attempts.

Align a bucket of balls in the sand (avg. bucket is 40 balls) into 2 parallel lines 20 balls per line and stop sand shots inside quadrants. Count the number of successes.

Make two straight lines of 18 balls each in the sand, about 1 foot apart in each line, and place the lines 5 to 10 yards apart.

On the green, mark a 10-foot circle around the hole and divide it into 4 equal parts.

Hit 36 sand shots, split into 4 groups of

9

For each group, aim all 9 shots at one of the 4 parts.

Switch to the other line of balls every 9 shots.

Try to make each ball stop in the right part on the green; count only balls that do.

6

After all 36 shots, count how many made it and enter your score in the app out of 36 attempts.

Put a target on the green for the first spot.

Hit 18 shots from the first bunker spot, changing the target every 3 shots (pick 6 spots).

Move to the second bunker spot and do the same: 18 shots, change target every 3 shots (6 targets).

Try to get the ball as close as possible to each target.

Count a shot as success if it stops within 3 feet of the target.
