Bump-n-Run | Perpendicular Ball Lines | 9 Stop Zones

Short Game

Align a bucket of balls next to the green (avg. bucket is 40 balls) into 2 perpendicular lines 20 balls per line and stop bump-n-run shots inside 9 Stop Zones. Count the number of successful stops.

Place two lines of 18 balls each next to the green, 1 foot apart. Lines are at right angles, 5 to 10 yards apart.

Mark 9 stop zones on the green using buckets, tees, or string. Make 3 groups with 3 zones each, spaced evenly.

Hit 36 bump-and-run shots: 12 at each group of 3 zones (4 shots per zone).

From the first line, hit 12 shots at the first group of 3 zones (4 shots per zone).

5

Move to the second line, hit 12 shots at the second group of 3 zones (4 shots per zone).

6

Go back to the first line and hit 12 shots at the third group of 3 zones (4 shots per zone). Enter score in the app, out of 36 attempts.

7

Count each success where the ball stops in the target zone. Add all successes for your score.

Bump-n-Run | Parallel Piles | 9 Stop Zones

Short Game

Up to 5 players compete to stop a bump-n-run shot in the stop zone(s). The player with the most points at the end wins the challenge. One bucket of balls per player is needed.

Set up 10 piles of balls in two lines. The lines are 3 yards/meters apart. Each pile in a line is 4 yards/meters apart.

Place the piles on grass 1 to 10 yards/meters from the green and 5 to 30 yards/meters from the hole.

Make 9 stop zones on the green with buckets, string, or tees. Number the zones 1 to

4

Divide 36 tries into 9 groups of 4 shots. Each group tries for a different stop zone.

For each set of 4 shots, choose any pile and hit shots to the chosen stop zone.

After 4 shots at one zone, go to the next stop zone and do the same. Do this for all 9 zones.

7

Count every shot that stops in the right zone as a success.

8

Add up successes out of 36 tries and enter the score in the app.

Short Game

Place the 2 lines so they cross each other like a plus sign, 5 to 10 yards apart.

Put 3 targets about 6 feet apart on the green.

Hit 12 shots at each target, for a total of 36 shots.

Start with one line and hit 12 shots trying to stop the ball within 10 feet of the first target.

Use the other line and hit 12 shots at the second target, same goal.

Hit 12 shots at the third target from either line, trying to keep within 10 feet.

Count each shot that stops within 10 feet of the target.

After 36 shots, write down your number of successful shots out of 36 attempts in the app.

Short Game

Set up 10 piles of balls in two crossed lines. Each line has 5 piles, 3 yards/meters apart.

Put the piles 1 to 10 yards/meters from the green and 5 to 30 yards/meters from the hole, on the same type of grass.

Mark 3 target zones on or near the green, spaced far apart.

Hit 36 bump-and-run shots: 12 for each target zone.

Pick any pile and hit 12 balls, trying to land and stop the ball in the first target zone.

Hit 12 shots at the second target zone, then 12 at the third.

Keep the same ball setup for every shot. Don’t change ball position or lie in the pile.

Count each ball that stops in the target zone as a success.

At the end, enter the number of balls that stopped in the target zones out of 36.

Put 3 markers at the edge of the green, 6 feet apart, to make 3 landing zones in a row.

Hit 36 bump-and-run shots: 12 shots at each landing zone.

Switch between ball lines. For each zone, hit 3 shots from one line, then 3 shots from the other, until all 12 shots per zone are done.

Each time a ball stops in the right zone, count it as a successful shot.

6

After all 36 shots, add up your successful shots and enter your score in the app out of 36 attempts.
