Bump-n-Run | Deep Rough and Other | Above/Below Feet

Short Game

Hit bump-n-run two buckets of balls (avg. bucket is 40 balls) from the sloped deep rough and other extreme grass types; one bucket with balls above feet level, and one bucket with balls below feet level.

Set up two lines of balls next to the green on a slope. Each line has 18 balls, 5 yards apart, between 5 and 30 yards from the hole.

One line has balls above foot level, the other line has balls below foot level.

There are two groups: 18 shots from balls above feet, and 18 shots from balls below feet.

For each group, hit every third ball in the line until you hit all

Aim each shot to land and stop in a target zone on the green, 5 to 10 yards from the hole.

First, hit all 18 balls from above feet, then all 18 from below feet.

7

Count each ball that stops in the target zone as a success.

Add all successful shots out of 36 and enter your score in the app, out of 36 attempts.

Get 36 golf balls and split into 2 groups of 18 balls each.

Put one group of 18 balls on the uphill slope, close to the green.

Put the second group of 18 balls on the downhill slope, about 5 yards from the green.

On the green, set up 3 target zones in a line, about 6 feet apart.

From the uphill pile, hit 6 shots at each target zone (first at Zone 1, then Zone 2, then Zone 3).

Short Game

Scatter a bucket of balls (avg. bucket is 40 balls) next to the green. Scatter into 8 equal piles of 5 balls and stop bump-n-run shots inside 9 Stop Zones. Count the number of successful stops.

Put 36 balls into 9 groups of 4 balls each around the green, spaced 1–10 yards from the edge and 5–30 yards from the hole.

Use string, tees, or markers to make 9 stop zones on the green, spread out as different landing spots.

Hit 4 bump-and-run shots at each stop zone, for a total of 36 shots.

Start at any group, aim at the first stop zone, hit 4 shots, then move to the next zone; repeat until all zones have been used.

Count each ball that stops inside the target zone as a success.

Add up the number of successful shots out of 36 and enter the score in the app.

Short Game

Up to 5 players hit bump-n-run shot two buckets of balls (avg. bucket is 40 balls) from the sloped rough grass; one bucket from the uphill slope and one bucket from the downhill slope.

Make two piles of 18 balls: one on an uphill slope, one on a downhill slope, both between 0 and 5 yards from the green.

Mark three target zones on the green’s edge at 3 feet, 6 feet, and 9 feet from where the ball should land.

Split the 36 shots into 3 groups of 12 shots: 12 at the closest zone, 12 at the middle zone, and 12 at the farthest zone.

From the uphill pile, hit 6 shots to the closest zone, then 6 shots to the middle zone.

From the downhill pile, hit 6 shots to the farthest zone, then 6 shots to the closest zone.

Repeat as needed until all 36 shots are done: 12 to each zone using both piles.

Put 2 rows of 20 golf balls each on flat grass near the green, 5 yards apart.

Make sure both rows are between 5 and 30 yards from the hole, and keep all balls on the fairway, not on the green.

Split the 36 shots into 3 groups of

First 12 shots, try to land the ball within 5 feet left of the hole.

Next 12 shots, try to land the ball within 5 feet right of the hole.

Last 12 shots, aim to land the ball in a 5-foot circle around the hole.

Hit every third ball from each row: start with one row (balls 1, 4, 7, etc.), then switch to the other row, and keep going until all 36 shots are done.

Count each ball that stops in the right target area as a success for that group.

When all 36 tries are finished, add the successful shots and enter your score in the app, out of 36.
