Sand Short

Short Game

Hit two buckets of balls (avg. bucket is 40 balls) from the sand.

Place 3 piles of 12 golf balls in the bunker, each pile in a different spot between 5 and 20 yards from the hole.

Mark 3 target zones on the green around the hole, each zone about 3 feet wide.

Hit balls from each pile and try to land them in each target zone, 12 shots per zone.

Count each ball that stops inside the right zone as a success.

After all shots, enter the number of successful balls out of 36 in the app.

Put 3 markers in a straight line on the green, about 6 feet apart near the hole.

Hit 36 shots in total: 18 from the first spot and 18 from the second spot.

From the first spot, hit 6 balls at each target, any order.

Do the same from the second spot: 6 balls at each target.

A shot is good if the ball stops near the target.

Count how many balls land close to the targets.

Sand | Parallel Ball Lines | Bullseye 2x

Short Game

Align a bucket of balls in the sand (avg. bucket is 40 balls) into 2 parallel lines 20 balls per line and stop sand shots inside Bullseye. Count the number of balls in the inner and outer Bullseye.

In a sand bunker, make two straight lines of golf balls. Put 18 balls in each line, spaced 1 foot apart. Lines should be 5 to 10 yards apart.

On the green, mark two circles around the hole: one with a 6-foot radius and another with a 15-foot radius.

Stand in the bunker 20 to 40 yards from the hole.

Hit 9 shots from the first line, trying to land balls inside the 6-foot circle.

Hit 9 shots from the second line, trying to land balls inside the 15-foot circle but outside the 6-foot circle.

Do steps 4 and 5 two more times, switching lines and targets, until you hit 36 shots total.

Count how many balls stopped inside the 6-foot circle and the 15-foot circle. Enter the total number of successful shots out of 36 attempts in the app.

Sand | Parallel Ball Lines | Bullseye 2x

Short Game

Up to 5 players compete to stop a sand shot in the bullseye. The best final score relative to PAR wins the challenge. Up to 80 balls are needed.

Make 4 straight lines of 9 balls each in the sand bunker, with 1 foot between each ball.

Place the lines 3 yards apart from each other, and make sure all balls are between 20 and 40 yards from the hole.

On the green, make two circles: a small circle around the hole (6-foot radius) and a bigger circle (15-foot radius).

Hit 36 balls in total: 12 try for the small circle, 12 try for the big circle but outside the small, 12 can land anywhere on the green.

Hit the first 12 balls aiming for the small circle.

6

Hit the next 12 balls aiming for the big circle but outside the small one.

Hit the last 12 balls onto the green without worrying where they end up.

Count each ball that stops where it is supposed to for that round.

Add up how many balls landed in the right spots out of 36 tries and enter your score in the app.

Short Game

Put Target A on the left and Target B on the right on the green, about 10 feet apart.

Hit 36 shots total: 18 from one spot, 18 from the other spot.

From each spot, hit 9 shots to Target A and 9 shots to Target B. Alternate every 3 shots.

Use the same setup and swing for all shots. Only change where you aim.

Count a shot as good if it stops within 3 feet of the target you aimed for.

Sand | Scattered Piles | 9 Stop Zones

Short Game

Up to 5 players compete to stop a sand shot in the stop zone(s). The player with the most points at the end wins the challenge. One bucket of balls per player is needed.

Make 9 stop zones on the green in a 3 by 3 grid using tees, string, or markers.

Hit 4 sand shots to each stop zone, for 36 shots total.

Start from any pile and aim for the first stop zone.

After 4 shots to one zone, move to the next zone and keep going until all 9 zones are done.

Count each shot that stops inside the correct stop zone as a success.

Hit all 36 balls from the sand aiming for the target circles on the green.

Hit 3 balls from one line, then 3 from the other line, repeat until all 36 are hit.

Balls inside the inner Bullseye count as 'birdie', balls inside the outer (but outside inner) count as 'par'.
