Course Description

Founded in 1947, ORCC has played host to several of the state's top Championship Golf events. From the clubhouse you can enjoy some of the most spectacular, unadulterated mountainous views imaginable. Our restaurant is a popular gathering spot for golfers both before and after play, as well as a heartwarming place for families alike.The main attraction championship 18 hole golf course, was nominated for Golf Digest's Best New Private Club Course for 1996. The course was originally built in 1947 and was redesigned in 1995-96 by Robert Cupp Design, Inc. The blemish free greens are SR1020 Bentgrass encompassing six location zones for pin positioning. Along with perfectly manicured Zoysia grass fairways, and #31 Tall Fescue rough. The challenging layout is complete with various creeks and water hazards along with 49 sand bunkers (31 greenside, 18 fairway) providing a course plays different every day keeping members on their toes.ORCC is proud to be the home golf course of PGA TOUR Professional and Knoxville native Scott Stallings. Although the course can accommodate the length of a PGA TOUR Professional, the course offers 4 sets of tees, allowing a challenging round of golf to all levels of golfers. The Oak Ridge Country Club is also a great place to host gatherings and business functions of all sizes. We're looking forward to having a wonderful year, and we hope you'll spend yours here with us!
