Course Description
Founded in 1908, Muskegon Country Club has a long and rich history. The golf course - design by the world renown architect Donald Ross - played host to the Golf Association of Michigan's Amateur Championship in 2005, and the event returns in the summer of 2013. This alone speaks to the reputation this once hidden gem has built. Although over 100 years old, Muskegon Country Club has it's eye trained to the future. Recognizing the need for a younger membership - while remaining appealing to the existing membership - new leadership will be adding goods, products and services to appeal to families and young professionals. A new liquor license soon to be acquired will allow the club to invite a wider audience for weddings, receptions, banquets and special events to a beautiful banquet facility overlooking Lake Muskegon. Indeed, like much of the community it is a part of, Muskegon Country Club is looking to put the recent hard times in the past, and looks forward to building a new, exciting future.
