Lake of the Woods Association is a large community subdivision located in Orange County, Virginia. The subdivision covers 2,600 acres and with 4,256 lots and is home to a large community of permanent year-round residents, seasonal residents and weekenders and is the largest population center in Orange County.The Association operates all original amenities and boasts 500 acre multi-use lake and 35 acre fishing lake; a USGA regulation golf course with Pro Shop and Fareways Café housed in the Woods Center; a Clubhouse with a restaurant, an Equestrian Center; two outdoor swimming pools; a well-equipped Fitness Center; tennis courts; Campground; a Community Center and a wide variety of outdoor nature, fitness and recreation areas.
