Bump-n-Run | Deep Rough and Other | Above/Below Feet

Short Game

Up to 5 players hit bump-n-run shot two buckets of balls (avg. bucket is 40 balls) from the sloped deep rough and other extreme grass types; one bucket with balls above feet level, and one bucket with balls below feet level.

Make two piles of 18 golf balls at the edge of the green: one pile for above the feet, one for below the feet.

Mark three landing zones on the green, each 4 feet wide and 5 feet apart in a straight line.

Hit 36 bump-and-run shots: 18 from above feet, 18 from below feet.

For each lie (above and below feet), hit 6 shots to each landing zone (6 per zone × 3 zones = 18 shots per lie).

Keep the same ball setup and distance for all shots. Only change where you are aiming.

Count any shot that lands and stops in the correct zone as a success.

After 36 shots, record the number of successful shots out of 36 attempts in the app.

Bump-n-Run | Fairway | Uphill/Downhill

Short Game

Hit bump-n-run two buckets of balls (avg. bucket is 40 balls) from the sloped fairway; one bucket from the uphill slope and one bucket from the downhill slope.

Set up two lines of 18 golf balls each on a sloped fairway near the green: one line on the uphill slope, one line on the downhill slope. Balls should be spaced 5 yards apart, between 5 and 30 yards from the hole.

Place 3 target zones on the green in a row, 6 feet apart. Call them Zone 1 (closest), Zone 2 (middle), and Zone 3 (farthest).

Hit 36 total bump-and-run shots: 18 from the uphill line, 18 from the downhill line.

From the uphill line, hit 6 shots to each zone (6 to Zone 1, 6 to Zone 2, 6 to Zone 3). Always hit every third ball, skipping two balls between shots.

For the downhill line, repeat the process: 6 shots to each zone, using every third ball.

Count a success each time a ball stops inside the intended target zone.

When all 36 shots are done, record how many balls landed in the correct zone, out of 36 attempts, in the app.

Bump-n-Run | Scattered Piles | 3 Landing Zones

Short Game

Scatter a bucket of balls (avg. bucket is 40 balls) next to the green. Scatter into 8 equal piles of 5 balls and hit-and-land bump-n-run shots inside landing zones. Count the number of successes.

Put 36 golf balls into 3 groups of 12 balls. Spread the groups around the green between 1 and 10 yards from the edge and 5 to 30 yards from the hole.

Mark 3 landing zones in a straight line at the edge of the green, each 6 feet (2 meters) apart.

Hit 36 bump-and-run shots: 12 to zone 1, 12 to zone 2, 12 to zone

Use the first set of 12 balls for zone 1, the second set for zone 2, and the last set for zone

Keep ball positions and distances the same for the whole test.

Count each ball that stops inside the target zone as a success.

Add your total successful shots and enter your score in the app out of 36 attempts.

Bump-n-Run | Scattered Piles | 9 Stop Zones

Short Game

Up to 5 players compete to stop a bump-n-run shot in the stop zone(s). The player with the most points at the end wins the challenge. One bucket of balls per player is needed.

Set up 9 piles of 4 balls each, spread between 1 and 10 yards from the green and 5 to 30 yards from the hole.

Mark 9 stop zones on the green using tees, string, or small buckets.

Do 36 bump-and-run shots, 4 shots at each of the 9 stop zones.

From any pile, hit 4 shots to the first stop zone.

Do the same for the other stop zones, always 4 shots per zone, using the original ball setup.

6

Count shots that stop inside the right stop zone.

7

Add up how many shots were successful, and enter this number out of 36 attempts.
