26 minFocus: Short Game
1
Set up 3 landing zones on the green, each about 6 feet apart in a straight line toward the hole.

Choose one spot in the rough grass, 5 to 20 yards from the hole, to hit from. Do not move this spot.

Hit 36 chip shots—12 to each zone in order.

Hit 12 shots trying to land and stop in the first zone.

Next, hit 12 shots to the second zone.

Then, hit 12 shots to the third zone.

Count every shot that lands and stops in the right zone as a success.

After all 36 shots, add up how many successes out of 36 and enter the score in the app.

Arrange 36 balls in 2 lines of 18 each to form an L shape.

Keep each ball 1 foot apart in each line. Keep 5-10 yards between the two lines.

Place two circles around the hole on the green: one with a 6-foot radius, and one with a 15-foot radius.

From 5–30 yards away, chip 18 balls from the first line, aiming for the circles.

Chip the other 18 balls from the second line, aiming for the circles.

Alternate hitting 3 to 5 shots between the two lines.

Shots inside the small circle = full success. Shots inside the big circle only = partial success.

Make 9 stop zones on the green. Mark them with tees, string, or buckets. Line up or put them in a grid.
2
Put 36 balls in 4 rows. Each row has 9 balls, spaced 1 foot apart. Put the rows about 5 yards apart on the grass, between 5 and 20 yards from the green.

Plan to hit 4 balls at each of the 9 stop zones. That is 36 shots.

Start at any row of balls. Hit balls, trying to stop each one in the first stop zone.

After 4 tries at the first zone, go to the next zone and do the same. Keep going until you try all 9 zones.
6
Count a shot as a success if the ball stops completely inside the target zone.
7
When all shots are done, count the number of successful shots and enter the score in the app, out of 36 attempts.
