Weekly Plan

Flagship breakdown by week and day

1 day, 1 drill. Follow the drills and progress through the program. Each drill has instructions and scoring benchmarks to help you track your progress. The drills are designed to build on each other week by week, so try to follow the schedule as closely as possible for the best results.

Week 1 – Module

4 days scheduled

How straight can you roll it? Test your setup. Test your setup and square up. Focus on Distance Control, Alignment, Scoring. This module is for Short Game, specifically working on Bump'n'Run.

Day 1

Bump-n-Run | Deep Rough and Other | Uphill/Downhill

Program: How straight can you roll it? Test your setup

Hit bump-n-run shot two buckets of balls (avg. bucket is 40 balls) from the sloped deep rough and other extreme grass types; one bucket from the uphill slope and one bucket from the downhill slope.

Short Game26 min

Prepare 36 balls in two sets of

2

Pick one uphill spot, 5-20 yards from the hole, for 18 tries.

3

Make three target zones on the green around the hole: left, center, right.

4

Hit 6 balls at each target zone in order: left, center, right.

5

Move to a downhill spot, 5-20 yards from the hole, and do the same.

6

Count every ball that stops in the right target zone as a success.

Day 2

Bump-n-Run | Perpendicular Piles | 3 Landing Zones

Program: How straight can you roll it? Test your setup

Up to 5 players compete to stop a bump-n-run shot inside the landing zone(s). The player with the most points at the end wins the challenge. One bucket of balls per player is needed.

Short Game26 min
Diagram for Bump-n-Run | Perpendicular Piles | 3 Landing Zones
1

Set up 10 piles of balls in 2 lines that cross each other, 5 piles in each line. Space the piles about 3 yards or meters apart.

2

Place the piles so they are 1 to 10 yards or meters from the green and 5 to 30 yards or meters from the hole, on any grass.

3

On the green, make 3 landing zones side by side, each about 6 feet or 2 meters apart, using sticks, clubs, or string.

4

Hit 36 bump-and-run shots total. Aim 12 shots at each landing zone.

5

Pick a pile. Hit balls at the first landing zone until you do 12 shots.

6

Aim at the second landing zone for 12 shots from any piles.

7

Aim at the third landing zone for the last 12 shots.

8

Count how many shots land and stop in the right zone.

9

When all 36 shots are done, record the number of good shots out of 36 in the app.

Day 3

Bump-n-Run | Parallel Ball Lines | Quadrants

Program: How straight can you roll it? Test your setup

Align a bucket of balls next to the green (avg. bucket is 40 balls) into 2 parallel lines 20 balls per line and stop bump-n-run shots inside quadrants. Count the number of successes.

Short Game26 min
Diagram for Bump-n-Run | Parallel Ball Lines | Quadrants
1

Place two lines of 18 balls each near the green. Balls are 1 foot apart. Lines are 5 to 10 yards apart.

2

On the green, make a circle around the hole (6 feet radius) and divide it into 4 equal quadrants with string or markers.

3

Hit 36 bump-and-run shots total, 9 shots at each quadrant.

4

For each set of 9 shots, aim to stop the ball inside one chosen quadrant.

5

Hit 4 or 5 shots in a row from one line, then switch to the other line and finish the 9 shots for that quadrant.

6

After 9 shots to one quadrant, move to the next quadrant and repeat the routine until all 4 quadrants have been used.

7

Count each ball that stops in the right quadrant as a success.

8

After all 36 shots, add up successful shots in the intended quadrants and enter score in the app, out of 36 attempts.

Put the ball in the sloped rough, 5 to 30 yards from the hole, with the ball above your feet.

2

Place three targets evenly spaced left, center, and right of the hole, all about the same distance from your ball.

3

Hit 36 bump-and-run shots: 18 with the ball above your feet and 18 with the ball below your feet.

4

For each lie, split the 18 shots into 3 groups of 6, one group for each target.

5

With the ball above your feet, hit 6 shots to the left target, 6 to center, and 6 to right, in any order.

6

Move the ball below your feet and repeat: 6 shots to left, 6 to center, 6 to right.

Day 5

Bump-n-Run | Perpendicular Piles | Multiple Targets

Program: How straight can you roll it? Test your setup

Short Game26 min
Diagram for Bump-n-Run | Perpendicular Piles | Multiple Targets
1

Arrange 40 balls into 10 piles with 4 balls in each pile. Set the piles in two lines that cross each other near the green. The two lines should be 6 yards apart. Each pile in a line is 2 yards from the next pile.

2

Pick 3 target flags on the green. Space the targets 6 feet apart in a line or triangle so each one can be aimed at.

3

Hit 36 bump-and-run shots, in 3 sets of 12 shots. For each set, aim all 12 shots at one of the target flags (Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 3).

4

Start at any pile and try to hit the ball so it lands inside a 10-foot circle around the chosen target. Do this for 12 shots, then move to the next target and do it again, until all 36 shots are done.

5

Use different piles as you like for variety, but always set up the same way for each shot.

2

Space the lines 5 to 10 yards/meters apart, with each ball about 1 foot (30 cm) apart in each line.

3

Mark two circles on the green: an inner circle with a 6-foot (2 m) radius and an outer circle with a 15-foot (5 m) radius around the hole.

4

Hit 36 bump-and-run shots in 2 sets of 18 shots, switching between the two lines.

5

Hit 3 to 5 shots from one line, then switch to the other line, until all 36 balls are played.

6

Try to land balls in the circles: inside the inner circle is best, inside the outer circle is okay.

Pitch | Parallel Piles | Bullseye 2x

Program: How many can you leave inside 5 feet?

Up to 5 players compete to stop a pitch shot in the bullseye. The best final score relative to PAR wins the challenge. One bucket of balls per player is needed.

5

Space rows 6 yards/meters apart. Space piles in each row 4 yards/meters apart.

2

Put all piles on grass, between 30 and 60 yards/meters from the hole, not on the green.

3

On the green, draw two circles around the hole: the inner one has a 6-foot/2-meter radius (birdie zone); the outer one has a 15-foot/5-meter radius (par zone). Shots outside the big circle count as misses (bogey).

4

Hit 36 pitch shots total: 18 aiming for the inner (birdie) circle, 18 aiming for the outer (par) ring but outside the inner circle. Split into two groups of 18; switch groups after every 6 shots.

5

Hit from any pile. Count a shot as successful if the ball stops inside the right circle (inner or outer).
