Bump-n-Run | Fairway | Uphill/Downhill

Short Game

Up to 5 players hit bump-n-run shot two buckets of balls (avg. bucket is 40 balls) from the sloped fairway; one bucket from the uphill slope and one bucket from the downhill slope.

Make two piles of 18 balls each, one on an uphill slope, one on a downhill slope, both close to the green.

Mark three target zones on the green, each 4 feet wide and 6 feet apart. Label as Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone

Split each group of 18 shots into three sets of

Short Game

Hit bump-n-run two buckets of balls (avg. bucket is 40 balls) from the sloped deep rough and other extreme grass types; one bucket with balls above feet level, and one bucket with balls below feet level.

Set up two lines of balls next to the green on a slope. Each line has 18 balls, 5 yards apart, between 5 and 30 yards from the hole.

One line has balls above foot level, the other line has balls below foot level.

There are two groups: 18 shots from balls above feet, and 18 shots from balls below feet.

For each group, hit every third ball in the line until you hit all

Aim each shot to land and stop in a target zone on the green, 5 to 10 yards from the hole.

First, hit all 18 balls from above feet, then all 18 from below feet.

Count each ball that stops in the target zone as a success.

Short Game

Up to 5 players compete to stop a bump-n-run shot closest to the multiple target(s). The player with the most points at the end wins the challenge. Up to 80 balls are needed.

Set up 4 lines on the grass, each with 9 balls spaced 1 foot apart. Put the lines 5 yards apart, between 3 and 15 yards from the green.

Place 3 targets on the green in a straight line, 3 feet apart.

Divide the 36 shots into 3 groups of

Hit 12 shots at the first target from any line, then 12 at the second target, then 12 at the third target.

Align a bucket of balls next to the green (avg. bucket is 40 balls) into 2 parallel lines 20 balls per line and stop bump-n-run shots inside quadrants. Count the number of successes.

For each lie (above and below feet), hit 6 shots to each landing zone (6 per zone × 3 zones = 18 shots per lie).

Keep the same ball setup and distance for all shots. Only change where you are aiming.

Set up 10 piles of balls in two lines. The lines are 3 yards/meters apart. Each pile in a line is 4 yards/meters apart.

Place the piles on grass 1 to 10 yards/meters from the green and 5 to 30 yards/meters from the hole.

Make 9 stop zones on the green with buckets, string, or tees. Number the zones 1 to

Divide 36 tries into 9 groups of 4 shots. Each group tries for a different stop zone.

For each set of 4 shots, choose any pile and hit shots to the chosen stop zone.

After 4 shots at one zone, go to the next stop zone and do the same. Do this for all 9 zones.

On the uphill row, hit every third ball until you take 18 shots.

On the downhill row, do the same: hit every third ball until you take 18 shots.

Only balls that land and stop in a 6-foot wide target area, 5–15 feet from the hole, count as a success. Same target for both rows.
