Course Description
Glenross Golf Club, formerly Tanglewood Golf Course, is an eclectic blend of both old and new. The renovation of the course has been extensive, but its identity has been retained. The large majestic oak trees that defined many fairways take on the same importance by bordering the fairways of the new Glenross course. While much of the golf course layout will be recognizable to previous patrons, five new holes have been added to strengthen the layout. As in the past, play continues to occur both north and south of Cheshire Road in Delaware, Ohio, but a new tunnel now leads players from the front nine to the back nine.Glenross's 6,500-yard, par-70 golf course features four sets of tees on each hole. The all new bentgrass tees, fairways and greens will further compliment each hole. Renovation occurred from tee through green on each of the existing 13 holes and five holes have completely new layout and design. Our beautiful course boasts rolling fairways, undulating greens, fifty new sand bunkers, seven ponds and a natural creek. Acres of wetlands, natural grass areas and hundreds of trees have been added to further challenge golfers and enhance the overall playing experience. You can click here to view a course tour.

How difficult is Glenross Gc for mid-handicap golfers?
Players often find Glenross Gc technically exacting. This slope level makes it manageable compared to championship venues. The course rating of 71.1 reflects on scoring relative to par 70.
What tees should a 15 handicap play at Glenross Gc?
A 15 handicap golfer should consider tees closer to 6302 yards. The back tees extend to 6527.0 yards, which makes approach shots longer and scoring more challenging.
What is considered a good score at Glenross Gc?
With a course rating of 71.1 and par 70, a mid-handicap golfer would typically score in the mid to high 80s. Stronger players aiming to break 70 must manage approach shots and avoid penalty strokes.
How long is Glenross Gc and how does yardage affect play?
Stretching to 6527.0 yards from the back tees, it does not overwhelm length but rewards accuracy.
What type of course is Glenross Gc and how should I play it?
The course follows a traditional Parkland design philosophy. Overall, the setup will reward players who place the ball in safe positions far from hazards. Also, type of shot is more crucial rather than just trying to gain distance.
What features make Glenross Gc strategically challenging?
The combination of a slope rating of 128.0 and yardage reaching 6527.0 yards creates consistent pressure on approach shots. You will need to balance risk and reward, especially on longer par 4s and protected greens.
