FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions about Forrester Park
Get answers to common questions about playing Forrester Park and what to expect.
How difficult is Forrester Park for mid-handicap golfers?
Players often find Forrester Park technically exacting. The 132.0 slope indicates balanced but noticeable difficulty. The course rating of 69.9 reflects on scoring relative to par 71.
What tees should a 15 handicap play at Forrester Park?
A 15 handicap golfer should consider tees closer to 5778 yards. The back tees extend to 5990.0 yards, which makes approach shots longer and scoring more challenging.
What is considered a good score at Forrester Park?
With a course rating of 69.9 and par 71, a mid-handicap golfer would typically score in the mid to high 80s. Stronger players aiming to break 71 must manage approach shots and avoid penalty strokes.
How long is Forrester Park and how does yardage affect play?
Stretching to 5990.0 yards from the back tees, distance is less of a barrier than precision.
What type of course is Forrester Park and how should I play it?
The course follows a traditional Parkland design philosophy. Overall, the setup will reward players who place the ball in safe positions far from hazards. Also, type of shot is more crucial rather than just trying to gain distance.
What features make Forrester Park strategically challenging?
The combination of a slope rating of 132.0 and yardage reaching 5990.0 yards creates consistent pressure on approach shots. You will need to balance risk and reward, especially on longer par 4s and protected greens.
