Course Description
Elizabeth Manor Golf and Country club is located on the Elizabeth River in Portsmouth, Virginia. Whether you're playing golf, tennis, swimming, socializing or just relaxing, Elizabeth Manor Golf and Country Club offers its members an enjoyable and active lifestyle. Elizabeth Manor has ongoing scheduled social events for the entire family and a strong community of friends and neighbors. Being a member at Elizabeth Manor means people know you by name and that this "home away from home" is one that your entire family can enjoy over the course of their lives. The 18 hole, par 70, golf course was originally designed in 1948 by Dick Wilson, with renovations in 1998. The course is open seven days a week, and features a full service Pro shop, along with a practice putting green, chipping green, practice bunker and driving range. General Manager and PGA Professional Dan O'Boyle, maintains a full service professional golf shop and is well equipped to satisfy any of your golfing needs. The qualified instruction from our Professional staff is sure to take strokes off your game. Their years of experience will make even the most novice golfer feel at ease. Elizabeth Manor Golf & Country Club provides several options for dining and special events. Our facilities include two restaurants, a private dining room, a lounge and two patios with breathtaking views of the Elizabeth River. Our private dining rooms are perfect for business meetings and intimate gatherings. In addition to restaurant dining, Elizabeth Manor has a full service catering operation available to members and their guests. The Culinary team, headed by Executive Chef Josh O'Brien, are constantly striving to offer a varied and exciting menu for our members and their guests. Elizabeth Manor features six tennis courts that are open year-round; two Hartru courts and four Plexipave courts, which have lighting for night play. Junior tennis programs and Ladies/Men's Tournament programs are offered as well.
