Flop | Rough | Above/Below Feet

Short Game

Hit flop shot two buckets of balls (avg. bucket is 40 balls) from the sloped rough grass; one bucket with balls above feet level, one bucket with balls below feet level.

Place 18 balls on a slope above the feet, and 18 balls on a slope below the feet, on opposite sides near the green.

Set one target on the green at a short distance between 10 and 20 yards.

Hit 36 flop shots: 18 from above the feet, 18 from below the feet.

Every 3 shots, change aim to left, center, or right of the target. Hit 6 shots at each aim for both slopes.

Try to land each ball close to the target.

Count a shot as successful if the ball lands within 3 feet of the target.

Count total successful shots and enter the score in the app out of 36 attempts.

Place 36 golf balls into 6 piles of 6 balls each around the practice green.

Set up 2 target zones on the green about 6 feet apart: Zone A (closer to the edge) and Zone B (closer to the hole).

Hit 36 flop shots: 18 shots for Zone A and 18 for Zone B.

First, from piles above your feet, hit 3 shots per pile to Zone A, then 3 shots per pile to Zone B, switching piles as needed.

Next, repeat the same sequence from piles below your feet: 9 shots to Zone A and 9 shots to Zone B.

Count shots that land and stop inside the correct zone as a success.

Short Game

Align a bucket of balls (avg. bucket is 40 balls) into 2 perpendicular lines 20 balls per line and stop flop shots inside quadrants. Count the number of successes.

Pick a spot 5 to 20 yards from the hole near the green to practice flop shots.

Place 36 balls in two lines so they cross in the middle. Each line has 18 balls, 1 foot apart.

Use string or tees to mark 4 equal zones inside a 10-foot circle around the hole.

Split the 36 balls into 4 groups of 9 balls. Each group aims for a different zone.

From the first line, hit 9 balls to the first zone.

From the second line, hit 9 balls to the second zone.

Go back to the first line and hit 9 balls to the third zone.

Short Game

Up to 5 players compete to stop a flop shot in the bullseye. The best final score relative to PAR wins the challenge. One bucket of balls per player is needed.

Set up 10 piles of balls in two lines that cross at a right angle. Each pile has enough balls for 3 shots. Place piles 5-40 yards from the hole on grass.

On the green, mark two circles around the hole: a 6-foot circle (bullseye) and a 15-foot circle.

Hit 36 flop shots total. From each pile, hit 3 shots trying to land near the hole.

Split the 36 shots into 2 rounds of

In each round, hit 1 shot from each of the 10 piles, then hit 1 more shot from the first 8 piles.

Score: inside 6 feet = birdie, inside 15 feet = par, outside 15 feet = bogey.

Short Game

Up to 5 players compete to stop a flop shot inside the quadrant(s). The player with the most points wins the challenge. One bucket of balls per player is needed.

Arrange 10 piles of balls in two lines that cross each other. Each line has 5 piles, placed 3 yards apart. The lines are 6 yards apart.

Put all piles between 5 and 40 yards from the hole. Keep all piles on the same type of grass.

On the green, mark 4 equal quadrants. Each quadrant is a circle with a 3-meter radius around the hole.

Hit 36 flop shots: 9 shots to each quadrant.

Start at one pile. Hit 9 shots at Quadrant 1, move to another pile and hit 9 shots at Quadrant 2, then 9 shots at Quadrant 3, then 9 shots at Quadrant

A shot that stops inside the target quadrant counts as a success.
