Course Description
Founded in 1896, Cape Fear Country Club is the oldest private country club in North Carolina. The club is steeped in southern tradition and is noted for its service levels and quality activities for members. Our challenging golf course is an 18-hole original Donald Ross designed course. The PGA Tour held the Azalea Open at Cape Fear Country Club from 1949 to 1971. Along with golf, we feature premier tennis, swimming, fitness facilities, exceptional dining, youth activities, and many social events.
