Flop | Parallel Ball Lines | 9 Stop Zones

Short Game

Up to 5 players compete to stop a flop shot in the stop zone(s). The player with the most points at the end wins the challenge. Up to 80 balls are needed.

Set up 9 stop zones on the green in a grid, spaced evenly.

Off the green, place 4 lines of 9 balls each, balls spaced 1 foot apart, and lines 5 yards/meters apart.

Hit 36 flop shots total—4 shots to each of the 9 stop zones.

Keep the ball setup the same for all shots.

From any ball line, hit 4 shots to the first stop zone, then repeat for all 9 zones.

Count shots that stop in the zone as a success.

Flop | Scattered Piles | Quadrants

Short Game

Scatter a bucket of balls (avg. bucket is 40 balls) into 8 equal piles of 5 balls and stop flop shots inside quadrants. Count the number of successes.

Make 8 piles of 5 balls each (40 balls total) between 5 and 40 yards from the green.

On the green, use markers to make 4 equal parts inside a 10 ft circle around the hole.

Hit 36 flop shots in total, split into 4 groups of 9 shots for each part of the circle.

Aim 9 shots for the first part, then 9 for the second, the third, and last the fourth part.

Change which pile to hit from each time to get different angles and lies.

Count only shots that stop in the right part as a success.

Short Game

Align a bucket of balls (avg. bucket is 40 balls) into 2 perpendicular lines 20 balls per line and hit-and-land flop shots inside landing zones. Count the number of successes.

Arrange 36 balls in two lines of 18 balls each. Lines cross each other and are 5 to 10 yards apart. Balls are 1 foot apart in each line.

Put three landing zones in a row on the green, 6 feet apart.

There are 36 shots. Aim 12 shots at each landing zone.

From one line, hit 6 shots at the first landing zone.

From the other line, hit 6 shots at the second landing zone.

Go back to the first line and hit 6 shots at the third landing zone.

Switch lines and keep repeating until all 36 shots are done, with 12 shots at each landing zone.

Count each shot that lands and stops in the right zone as successful.

After all 36 shots, count successful shots and enter your score in the app out of 36 attempts.
