The purpose of Audubon Nature Institute is to celebrate the wonders of nature by creating a family of museums and parks dedicated to the natural environment. Audubon family consists of: Audubon Park and Riverview, Audubon Zoo, Audubon Aquarium of the Americas, Entergy Giant Screen Theater, Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium, Woldenberg Riverfront Park, Audubon Louisiana Nature Center, FreeportMcMoRan Audubon Species Survival Center, Audubon Wilderness Park, and Audubon Nature Institute Foundation. To achieve its goals and objectives, Audubon Nature Institute employs numerous individuals in many different areas of each facility with vast multitudes of skills and experiences.
