Bump-n-Run | Deep Rough and Other | Above/Below Feet

Short Game

Up to 5 players hit bump-n-run shot two buckets of balls (avg. bucket is 40 balls) from the sloped deep rough and other extreme grass types; one bucket with balls above feet level, and one bucket with balls below feet level.

Make two piles of 18 golf balls at the edge of the green: one pile for above the feet, one for below the feet.

Mark three landing zones on the green, each 4 feet wide and 5 feet apart in a straight line.

Hit 36 bump-and-run shots: 18 from above feet, 18 from below feet.

For each lie (above and below feet), hit 6 shots to each landing zone (6 per zone × 3 zones = 18 shots per lie).

Keep the same ball setup and distance for all shots. Only change where you are aiming.

Count any shot that lands and stops in the correct zone as a success.

After 36 shots, record the number of successful shots out of 36 attempts in the app.

Bump-n-Run | Parallel Ball Lines | Quadrants

Short Game

Align a bucket of balls next to the green (avg. bucket is 40 balls) into 2 parallel lines 20 balls per line and stop bump-n-run shots inside quadrants. Count the number of successes.

Place two rows of 18 balls each next to the green. Space the rows 5 to 10 yards apart. Balls in each row are 1 foot apart.

On the green, use strings or tees to mark 4 equal quadrants in a 6-foot circle.

Hit 36 bump-n-run shots, aiming 9 shots at each quadrant.

Hit 3 shots from the first row at Quadrant

Switch to the second row and hit 3 shots at Quadrant

Keep switching rows every 3 shots. Next aim at Quadrant 3 from the first row, then Quadrant 4 from the second row, until each quadrant has 9 shots.

Short Game

Up to 5 players compete to stop a bump-n-run shot in the bullseye. The best final score relative to PAR wins the challenge. One bucket of balls per player is needed.

Arrange 10 piles of balls in two lines, with 5 piles in each line. Lines are 3 yards/meters apart; piles are 4 yards/meters apart in each line.

Put the piles on grass, 1 to 10 yards/meters from the green and 5 to 30 yards/meters from the hole.

On the green, make two target circles with string or tees: an inner circle with a 6-foot/2-meter radius, and an outer circle with a 15-foot/5-meter radius.

Hit 36 bump-and-run shots: 18 shots at the inner circle, 18 shots at the outer circle.

Pick a ball pile and hit a bump-and-run shot to the target circle.

After 18 shots at one circle, switch and do 18 shots at the other circle.

Short Game

Hit bump-n-run two buckets of balls (avg. bucket is 40 balls) from the sloped fairway; one bucket from the uphill slope and one bucket from the downhill slope.

Set up two lines of 18 golf balls each on a sloped fairway near the green: one line on the uphill slope, one line on the downhill slope. Balls should be spaced 5 yards apart, between 5 and 30 yards from the hole.

Place 3 target zones on the green in a row, 6 feet apart. Call them Zone 1 (closest), Zone 2 (middle), and Zone 3 (farthest).

Hit 36 total bump-and-run shots: 18 from the uphill line, 18 from the downhill line.

From the uphill line, hit 6 shots to each zone (6 to Zone 1, 6 to Zone 2, 6 to Zone 3). Always hit every third ball, skipping two balls between shots.

For the downhill line, repeat the process: 6 shots to each zone, using every third ball.

Count a success each time a ball stops inside the intended target zone.

When all 36 shots are done, record how many balls landed in the correct zone, out of 36 attempts, in the app.

Prepare 36 balls and make 4 piles of 9 balls each.

Put each pile in a different spot, 1 to 10 yards from the green and 5 to 30 yards from the hole.

Mark 4 areas on the green using string or tees, each area should be about 6 feet across.

Hit 36 bump-n-run shots, trying to land 9 balls in each area.

Start from one pile, aim at one area, and hit all 9 balls. Move to the next pile and area.

Keep going until all 36 shots are done, 9 shots per area.

Count how many balls stopped in the target area each time.

On the downhill row, do the same: hit every third ball until you take 18 shots.
